MUJI wanted to debut in Portland, Oregon with more than just an introduction to its retail store and products. They sought to create a launch campaign that conveyed the MUJI ethos, to help the new audience understand MUJI as a ubiquitous maker of everyday, useful goods versus a specialty, destination shopping experience. The Find Less at MUJI message and campaign embodied their philosophy of creating thoughtful and sustainable products that are, simply put, enough.
Campaign executions included billboards, bus shelters, construction screens, print ads, print collateral, in-store displays, and sidewalk stencils.
